Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: 14 October 2026
SiteToSocial makes Pinterest pins from the pages of your website and posts them to your Pinterest account, with text written by AI and, on the AI plans, pictures made by AI. This policy says what it may not be used for. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every account, every website and every free tool.
In short: no gambling, no sexual content, no pills or drugs, no weapons, no fakes and no fraud. We check websites, pages, pin texts and every AI picture request automatically, and we refuse what breaks this policy.
1. Websites we do not make pins for
You cannot add, import, preview or post pins for a website whose purpose is to sell, promote or provide:
- Gambling: online casinos, slots, sports betting, bookmakers, lotteries, betting tips and casino bonus offers.
- Sexual content: pornography, nude or sexual pictures and videos, webcam models, escort or hook-up services, and sex toys.
- Pills and pharmacies: prescription medicine sold without a prescription, online pharmacies, erection pills, opioids, sleeping and anxiety pills, diet pills and steroids.
- Drugs: illegal or recreational drugs, cannabis, THC and CBD products, kratom, psychedelics, and vapes or e-liquids.
- Weapons: guns, ammunition, weapon parts and explosives for sale.
- Counterfeits: replica or fake branded goods.
- Fraud: stolen cards or accounts, fake documents, hacking services, money-doubling schemes and spyware.
Websites that only inform about these subjects, such as news, health information or help to quit an addiction, are fine.
2. Content you must not make or post
- Sexual, pornographic or other not-safe-for-work content of any kind, and anything sexual involving minors.
- Violence or gore, hate against people for who they are, harassment, or content that encourages self-harm.
- Anything illegal, or anything meant to deceive, such as fake news, scams or fake reviews.
- Pictures of real, identifiable people made with AI, deepfakes, or content that pretends to be someone else.
- Pages, photos or text you do not have the right to use.
- Spam: the same pins posted again and again, or anything that breaks Pinterest's own rules.
3. AI pictures
- Every AI picture request is checked automatically before the picture is made, against the same list as websites (section 1) and against requests for nudity, sexual content or gore. A request that fails the check is never sent to the image model.
- Pictures are made for ordinary Pinterest pins: the topic of your page, in a clean, safe style. There is no "uncensored" mode and no way to switch the checks off.
- When a picture is refused, the pin uses your own photo where your plan allows it, or is skipped.
4. How we check
- When you add a website (or change its address), and again every 30 days, we read its home page and look for the subjects in section 1. When something looks wrong, a second automatic check decides whether the website sells or promotes it, or only informs about it.
- Every page we import and every page used in the free tools is checked the same way. The words of every pin are checked again just before it is posted.
- A website the automatic check flags is held until a person at SiteToSocial has looked at it. Nothing is imported, previewed or posted for it until then.
- Automatic checks can make mistakes. If you think your website or a page was refused by mistake, write to us and a person checks it.
5. What happens when this policy is broken
- The website is blocked: nothing is imported from it, previewed or posted for it.
- Content that breaks this policy may be removed, and AI pictures may be refused.
- For serious or repeated breaches we may suspend or close the account (Terms of Service, section 11), and we report illegal content to the authorities where the law requires it.
6. Report a problem
If you see a pin made with SiteToSocial that breaks this policy, or you think we refused something by mistake, write to contact@sitetosocial.com or use the contact form (no account needed). Include a link and a short explanation. SiteToSocial is operated by its owner.
